User Cancels Booking
DeductionIf you cancel a confirmed booking before the journey, the points will be adjusted based on the cancellation fee.

Cancellation Penalty (20%):
-100 iPts
Final Points Credited:
+400 iPts
IRCTC Cancels Booking
Full RefundIn the rare event that IRCTC cancels the trip, you receive a full refund, and special point rules apply.
Points Used for Booking:
Fully returned to your wallet immediately with original expiry dates.
Pending Earn Points:
Since the journey did not occur, the pending points for this specific booking will be voided.
Currently, IRCTC Loyalty points have a strict 12-month validity and cannot be extended. We recommend redeeming them for travel or partner offers before they expire.
